The Sloppies was born from a simple observation: some of the most interesting software being built today has an AI co-author. We think that deserves a standing ovation.
Why “The Sloppies”?
Because building with AI is beautifully, gloriously sloppy. The prompts are messy. The iterations are chaotic. The results? Sometimes breathtaking, sometimes hilarious, always human.
We named these awards after the process, not the product. Every polished feature started as a sloppy first draft. Every elegant solution was preceded by a dozen AI hallucinations and a “let me try that again.”
The Sloppies celebrates the entire journey — the good, the weird, and the inexplicably functional.
